Are you in Year 7 - Year 13? If so, King's Youth is for YOU!!!
King's Youth is a 'Cluster' of smaller 'Cell Groups' for young people. We meet in homes on Thursday evenings, during term time, and then have a brilliant, joined up event each month where all the cells come together.
A typical Thursday evening starts off with a game or some time to chill out and relax together. Next, we have some time to think about God stuff. It might be some music, a film clip, some prayer, a game - it could be anything that helps us to focus on God and what he has done for us. After that, we have some time for discussion and enjoy listening to each other's opinions. Finally, we look at ways that we can look outward and help our communities and friends. It's all good fun and chilled out with plenty of snacks and brews! - a night not to be missed.
Years 7 & 8 meet at Stacey's home - 7:15-9:00
Years 9-11 meet at Dan and Claire's home - 7:30-9:15
Sixth Form meet at Andrew and Joanne's home - 8:00-10:00
Once a month, all of the cells in the cluster meet together. This night usually has a band, a tuck shop, games and activities to do, the chance to hear some wise words from a good youth speaker and plenty of time to meet up with the people in different cell groups from our own. The Sixth Form cell takes a strong lead in this night and is usually seen on the stage or leading different bits of it. It's a belter!
Throughout the year, we do loads of social things together. This includes days in Delamere Forest, food, gigs, food, The Gathering, barbecues, theme parks, Unite (with Warrington Youth For Christ) oh and food as well.
