The purpose of King’s Church is to have a deep relationship with God and to share Him with others.
This is what we are going for as a Church. It is important that we have a purpose,
a goal, a vision. (Proverbs 19:21, 29:18)
Our purpose or vision keeps us focused on what God wants us to be about. We don’t
make up our purpose, but discover it! We aren’t saying “God bless what we are doing”,
but rather “God help us to do what You are blessing”. By this we always want to be
growing in our relationship with God. The natural outflow of this is the ability
to develop good relationships with other Christians and God’s love is shared in relevant
ways with those who don’t know Him yet.
Our purpose is reflected in our preaching
and teaching, giving practical application of God’s word for real life. In our Sunday
services we give room for worship, the use of creative arts, spiritual gifts and
preaching.
