Kings Church Dance (KCD)
KCD formed in May 2009, and is a mixed group of young people with an enthusiasm for dance and movement. Our debut performance at the fun day in July 2009 showed our standard of excellence after just 5 weeks of rehearsal. Our choreographed routines are set to all kinds of music from Sister Act’s ‘Joyful Joyful’ to ‘Rock and Roll Christmas’. Our style varies from Hip Hop to more dramatised pieces such as Carmen’s ‘The Champion’.
Our desire is to show God’s love and joy through dance. People have danced before God since the Old Testament and we continue to do it today, probably in a more up to date and relevant style.
We have a fantastic time at rehearsal and really enjoy what we do.
All over the age of 7 are welcome and we rehearse at King’s Community Centre on a Thursday night from 6:15 till 7:15pm.
