For kids
JAM stands for ‘Jesus and Me’ and is a lunchtime club for 6-11 year old kids in two primary schools in Runcorn. The children eat together and then, for half an hour, sing worship songs with actions, listen to a Bible story or object lesson with life application and then play a quick game. This has grown to two groups meeting on a Thursday and Friday to accommodate the numbers attending. The room is packed with enthusiastic kids eager to learn more about Jesus. Whole school assemblies are often lead by the JAM team, too.
For family, too!
In the past, and hopefully again in the near future, we have provided JAM for the whole family. This is on a Sunday morning around Christmas and Easter and aims to create an opportunity for parents, carers and children to enjoy expressing their creativity, and relaxing and enjoying each other’s company while experiencing ‘interactive church for all the family’.
Family JAM gives everyone a chance to express their creativity, families to have fun and food together and it helps build community. We seek to provide an environment where all ages can learn more about Jesus. It helps to introduce people to Jesus through hospitality, friendship, stories and worship.
