Cluster Sunday
Clusters are a very important element of life at King’s Church. These mid-sized groups of people will either share a common interest and focus, or will be a collection of smaller cell groups that meet together throughout the year for social time or outreach.
Each half term, we hold a ‘Cluster Sunday’. On this day, many of the clusters will take the opportunity to work in the community, rather than meet together in the theatre like other Sundays.
People, whose clusters are not working in the community on Cluster Sunday, are encouraged to come together for a shorter gathering that will have a real outward focus.
Cluster Sundays have become a really exciting part of the rhythm of life at King’s Church and we look forward to hearing the great news stories, about what happened at each event, in the weeks that follow.
Cluster Sunday for this half term is on Sunday 4th December. It is very exciting that the majority of clusters are in the community on this occasion and so, as a result, there will NOT be an event at the theatre, but rather there will be a prayer gathering at Meeting Lane Community Centre, at 10:30, to pray for the activities that are going on.
These are the Cluster activities that are happening:
Alder Hey Cluster
Carol service at Alder Hey Hospital
Nursing Home Cluster
Visiting the residents at Woodleigh Nursing Home
Family JAM (Jesus And Me)
Meeting for family orientated fun and games at Brookvale Primary School, Widnes
